Ad Or Landing Page? Which Is More Important?

If we take a quick look at the components of a pay per click advertising campaign, you really don’t need much. But the things you do need are very important:
- Keyword research tool
- Ad copy
- Landing page
- Product to sell
- Payment processing system
- Keywords, of course
But which of these components is most important? Better still, focusing only on the organic tools of the campaign itself, rather than the technology or the supply chain, between ad content and landing page, which is more important?
Naturally, you can do neither without the right keywords. But the keywords in both your ad and your landing page need to match. You don’t want to optimize your landing page for Keyword A and your ad for Keyword B. The ad and the landing page have a symbiotic relationship. You can’t have one without the other. They are equally important.
The most important part of your pay per click advertising campaign is the optimization. How well do you use your keywords? How well is your content (ad and landing page) written? These organics are directly related to your quality score, which influences your price per click, which in turn influences your ROI.
