Google AdWords Scheduled Update

Google AdWords has a scheduled update planned for Saturday, June 21, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. That means you (and we) won’t be able to log into accounts during that time. While we’d love to be able to take care of any account management issues you want taken care of we simply won’t be able to take care of them on Saturday so if you do have something you’d like to get done between now and then, I suggest you let us know. Saturday will be out of the question.
That doesn’t mean your ads won’t be running. Ads will continue to run during that time, but account managers will not be able to log into accounts to management. No bid changes, no adding keywords or deleting them, no new test ads, no new campaigns. Until after 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Google has been performing more and more of these updates recently. They just had one one June 7 and now they’re having one again. It’s an inconvenience. We know that and apologize in advance. Unfortunately, we can’t influence it. But we can plan around it. And that’s what we’d like to do.
If you are a current customer of Brick Marketing or you are interested in working with us to start a new PPC campaign then give us a call before Saturday so that we can discuss your plans and help you make the changes that you want to make. Thank you.
