Did you know you can improve your overall SEO using PPC? It’s true. And it’s not real hard.
First, it all starts with keyword research. But it by no means ends there. The second thing you need is a useful analytics program. Each of the major search engines that offer PPC programs have good analytics tools included. You can also purchase a third-party analytics tool to use if you are not using one of the big three search engines. Whatever tool you use, you need to be able find out which keywords are used to find your website.
By looking at which keywords are used to find your website the most through PPC efforts, you can then build your landing pages to suit those efforts. Organically, if you can achieve high rankings for certain keywords then you don’t need PPC to do that for you. But for those keywords that are difficult to achieve high rankings for in the organic searches but you are able to attract large amounts of traffic through other sources for, those are the keywords that you want to focus on and see how you can use traditional SEO tools to draw more organic traffic.
After identifying which of your keywords are attracting the most traffic for your PPC campaigns, you can then build solid landing pages for those specific keywords and engage in link building to drive the SEO benefits of those pages higher. As you attract more organic traffic, you can lower your PPC budget.
