Three Ways To Increase Click-Throughs On Your Ads

When you write an ad for your PPC campaign, you have just a limited space to make your point and get the click. You can do the real sales work on your landing page, but you have to get your visitor to the landing page. To do that, you have to make every word, every character count. Here are three ways you can increase your click-throughs on your PPC ads:

  1. Use Power Words In Your Titles – A power word is an emotionally charged word that gets the attention of someone and makes them click because you’ve hit a trigger. Some powerful power words are:
    • Astonishing
    • Amazing
    • Astounding
    • Incredible
    • Revealing
    • Powerful
    • Vital
    • Confidential
    • Genuine
    • Secret
    • Successful
    • Breakthrough
    • Mystery

Use power words in your title and get the click through

  2. Promise A Benefit – Tell your reader you’ll give them something – a free book, a discount, anything. Make a promise that you deliver on with your landing page.
  3. Be Specific - Use specific figures when citing a landmark achievement. If you raised revenues by 356% then state that outright. If you increased company profits by 1/3 then say it that way. Be specific.

If you make a point to do these three things in your ads then you’ll get more click-throughs to your landing page.
