Landing Page Optimization Is Of Supreme Importance

What’s the most important part of your PPC campaign? Is it keyword research? How you bid on your keywords? Your daily or monthly budget? Which PPC company you use? No, it’s none of those.
While I consider every aspect of your pay per click campaign vitally important, there is nothing more important than your landing page. If your landing page is not optimized for search and written to close the sale then no amount of pay per click advertising is going to save you. It is absolutely imperative that you work and rework your landing pages until they are ready to convert the sale.
It’s very simple really. Without sales conversions you are just throwing your money away. It makes no sense to pay for advertising (of any kind) if you aren’t going to turn that investment into income. That’s why I say that your landing page (the best sales conversion tool you have) is the most important part of your PPC campaign.

Hi Nick,
I agree 100%. Most pay-per-click campaign tweaking can produce some minor improvements, but this is pocket change when compared to the double or even triple digit increases in conversion rate that we routinely get for our clients by improving their landing pages.
We have put together a free directory of all resources related to landing page optimization. Please check out http://LandingPageDirectory.com
