Can You Use Squidoo Lenses As Landing Pages?
Writing by Pay Per Click Journal on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 Comments (1)
If you don’t know what a Squidoo lens is then you are missing out. The brainchild of Seth Godin, Squidoo lenses have become popular marketing tools. You can start a lens on virtually any topic, drive traffic to it and earn AdSense revenue, or you can use the Squidoo lens to drive traffic to your website and make money.
People are using Squidoo lenses to promote affiliate programs – Amazon.com, eBay, and other popular shopping sites. One of the reasons why Squidoo lenses work for affiliate income is because people see them as less threatening. Squidoo is not a website owned by a company where people would expect to receive a strong sales pitch. Therefore, their guard is down.
If you build a Squidoo lens around the right niche product, you can use it to promote affiliate programs and drive traffic to it through highly optimized pay per click campaigns.

Neat idea! Actually, the folks at Squidoo discourage purchasing traffic or using exchange programs. (They can get your account locked or deleted.) But if you have authentic products to market, we’d love to see more review lenses!
